Plastic Surgeon Intern Assistant at the University of Kentucky Healthcare

My internship consisted of me working within the operating room and clinic alongside reconstructive plastic surgeons. I worked tp prepare the operating materials and disinfect the rooms after surgery. In the clinic, I restocked the medical materials after each patient and shuttled paper work to the front desk. This internship allowed me to immerse myself in the professional life of a surgeon and allowed me to grow comfortable in a clinical setting.
