Fundraising and Partnerships Interns at be artsy NGO

There were three interns from Centre at the same organization. We worked for a small NGO, be artsy, which works in rural Nepal to achieve menstrual and gender equity through education and participatory photography. We planned and hosted three Zoom fundraisers; we managed online fundraising pages, created graphics and videos for marketing, and worked with our supervisor and other participants to prepare for each event. When we were not fundraising, our responsibilities shifted to researching grants that be artsy would be eligible for and writing applications for those. This process was challenging, and we learned that donor organizations are very specific in their requirements -- this helped us realize the importance of grassroots fundraising for a small NGO like be artsy.
