Description
This summer, I was partnered with Kentucky Refugee Ministries (KRM) in Louisville, KY through the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty (SCHECP). KRM is a refugee resettlement agency that provides legal, healthcare, family, and youth services to refugees, asylees, and immigrants. I worked in KRM's Medical Services Office, where I helped to facilitate healthcare services for refugees and advocate for their access to quality healthcare.
