For my summer internship, I volunteered in the legal department of Kentucky Refugee Ministries in Louisville, KY. I spent my time learning about the refugee process from foreign countries to the United States. In addition, I conducted research projects, drafted my own legal motions, and began the process to understanding the responsibilities of an immigration attorney.
