Family Refugee Intern

This summer I interned for the Denver Rescue Mission on the family refugee services team. We worked to provide housing assistance to refugee families while ensuring their needs are met. My responsibilities included printing checks and delivering them to the families, meeting with volunteer mentors, recruiting new volunteers, keeping case files up to date, and conducting home visits with our clients.
