Description
Working in a psychiatric clinic in Nashville, TN, I was given opportunities to shadow Dr. Cochran and staff in the treatment of affective disorders. Primarily, my shadowing and research experience was aimed at individuals with Major Depressive Disorder and treating them with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) procedure. This advanced my understanding of running a medical practice, experience in psychiatric medicine, and further developed what I have accumulated from my academic courses of Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology at Centre College.
