Your work this CentreTerm has been phenomenal, Meredith! Thank you so much for your initiatives with Athletics and Greek Life. It's absolutely incredible. I can't wait to see the ways that you will continue this equity work in your future career.

Meredith!!!I love everything about this. Thank you for walking us through your decisions and ideas so relatably here! As you well know, your project with Athletics blew my freaking socks off. I'm so grateful for the systems thinking and patience you brought to the beastly "disclosure form" task. I agree that you have prepared future interns for success in so many ways. You know I am still processing some of the location-sharing stuff, so I learned things during your internship too!
I like to tell people that student activists build relationships to solve problems... but student LEADERS leverage the relationships they have already invested in. You used your well-earned positions in Greek Life and Athletics to improve health outcomes for your peers. That is something ONLY you can do, and you did it so, so well.
I'm thrilled you feel like this internship better prepared you for careers in law, policy, and advocacy. I am also so happy to hear you managed to have fun doing it. Come back soon!!!!
