Health Brigade Medical Intern

This summer I participated in the SHECP internship program and I worked at a free medical clinic in Richmond, VA named Health Brigade. I learned so much about the healthcare barriers that exist for impoverished communities, and how Health Brigade works to combat these inequities. I had an incredible experience both interacting with patients and observing the healthcare professionals at the clinic.
