MHHI Intern

Medical Health Humanities Institute is a program hosted by Centre College, Sewanee: The University of the South, and Rhodes College for students interested in medicine, public health, and related fields. We attended the rural program option at Sewanee University, and shadowed at the Southern Tennessee Regional Health System: Winchester Hospital. The goal of the six-week program is to provide the opportunity to reflect on healthcare in different settings through clinical observation and class discussion that incorporates the humanities and issues of health inequity and bias in healthcare.
