Community Engagement Intern

My position as the Community Engagement Intern this summer served as my Bonner Program Summer of Service. The purpose of my position was to help encourage community and relationship building among the Centre students living on campus during the summer and the Danville community. I accomplished these goals through projects such as a community food pantry, a weekly newsletter, and event planning. In a time of transition from the pandemic to a new "normal", this internship was extremely impactful in creating and strengthening community relationships and providing resources for students.
