Legal Defense Intern

I interned at the Federal Defender Program in Atlanta, Georgia, which is a law firm that represent individuals who cannot afford council in federal court. I was able to work with students in law school, attend modules to learn more about working as a federal public defender, proofread motions, attend pretrial motion hearings and trials, visit clients in jail, conduct research, and sit in on meetings and brainstorm sessions with the attorneys.
